Crochet limbs and more without additional sewing, by turning flat pieces into 3d rounds
Sometimes, when working on some smaller amigurumi, you may come across a piece that starts out flat and then converts to working in the round. This is a common technique used in patterns, and utilizes working in the front and back loops or a stitch separately. I have used this in my Gayle the Gecko pattern, and created this short Youtube video to help explain!
I hope you find this simple switch up technique helpful in your amigurumi adventures! I find that I like to use it when creating smaller amigurumi. It is often much easier then attaching a flat hand to a rounded arm as that can sometimes be a tricky join.
